Preferences
Eight settings in four groups, saved the moment you change them.
Every setting on the page
Dashboard, Preferences. The groups render in this order.

How the page saves
There is no save button. Each control writes as you change it, and a write that fails puts the message under that row and returns the control to what it was.
A setting your plan pins is disabled and shows "Included with your plan." beneath it, rather than being hidden.
These are account settings and follow you to every machine you sign in on.
Apply Agent changes without review
Off means Agent proposes and waits. On means it applies without the prompt.
It is not the only approval control, and it is not the one in the panel. The task pane has its own Approval preference, with three values: Always ask, Ask for large tasks, which is the default, and Never ask. That one is stored per machine.
Before turning either of them loose, read what reverting actually does: CADABRA does not group its work into one SOLIDWORKS undo record. Agent Mode has the detail.
Units and Decimal places
These are the same two account values the task pane shows under Units and precision. There is one stored setting each, so changing it in either place changes it in both, and no machine can disagree with another.
Both reach the model as an instruction about how to answer and how to dimension. Neither changes the unit setting of your SOLIDWORKS document, and neither converts anything already modeled.
They are not applied to a Drawings Mode turn, which uses the units and precision of your learned drawing standard instead. See drawing standards.
Do not store my data
Off by default. On, your designs, prompts and files are processed to answer the request in front of them and kept on no CADABRA server. It also turns off cloud chat history and cross-device recall, and attachments stop being uploaded.
This is the setting that governs training. If your organization has a policy against vendor model training, turn it on before the first real part goes through CADABRA.
Data handling covers what is kept regardless.
Account settings that are not on this page
- Allow extra usage and Budget this period are on the Billing page, next to the thing they authorise.
- Data protection is stored on your account with two values, standard and encrypted, and is set in the task pane as "Encrypt my stored data at rest". On Enterprise it is encrypted always, and the row reads that it is included with your plan: data handling.
- The level picker is a pill in the composer in the task pane, per machine. There is no model or level control on the dashboard: plans and limits.
- Language, Appearance, Approval preference, Modeling standards and the update channel confirmation all live in the task pane Settings.
