# Plans, usage, and limits

Every plan is a monthly allowance of the same unit.

## The plans

| Plan | Price | What it unlocks | Requirement |

| Free | Free | Baseline monthly usage, every plan is a multiple of this. Ask Mode, query your CAD model. Live web search. | None |
| Student | $15 | 4× the usage of Free. Plan, Agent and Debug Mode. Ask Mode with web search. | Requires an academic email in a supported region. Not offered in the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland. |
| Professional | $99 | 20× the usage of Free. Plan, Agent and Debug Mode. Most advanced AI models. | Cancel anytime. |
| Enterprise | Custom | Everything in Professional, for your whole team. Drawings Mode and custom standards. Custom usage volume and workflow tuning. | Requires a company email. |

## How usage is measured

Usage is metered as a monthly allowance rather than per prompt.

The [Usage page](https://cadabrai.com/dashboard/usage) in the dashboard shows what you have used, how many requests you have made, when the allowance resets, and a per-day breakdown. It exports to CSV.

## When it resets

The allowance is monthly and resets with your billing period. The Usage page shows a live "resets in" countdown, and you can view the current period, the previous period, or the last 1, 7, or 30 days.

## Reaching the limit

Requests that would exceed the allowance are declined until the period resets or more is added.

On paid plans you can buy extra usage for the current period from the [Billing page](https://cadabrai.com/dashboard/billing). It is a one-off top-up scoped to the period you are in, not a subscription change. Free does not have this option; the upgrade path there is a plan change.
